Richard, a trustee and volunteer for Family Friends, had a fundraising plan. He said “Like everyone, I am faced with various inconveniences during the current lockdown. One of these is that I need a haircut, and another is that I am locked in with my two daughters, who have decided to give me that haircut. Since I cannot escape, I have decided to meet the challenge head on – if they are going to clipper my head, then go ahead and shave it … and raise some much needed sponsorship for a great cause.” Richard braved the shave and the event was streamed live on our Facebook page.
