feedbackParents’ and children’s feedback is important to us as it lets us know how effective our service has been in supporting them and helps us to make changes so that we are at our most effective.

It is also very important that professionals, such as teachers, health visitors and social workers have confidence in the services we offer.

I have more confidence in handling situations and the help made me realise that I am not the only one who struggles with their child’s behaviour.

The support has helped me make vast improvements. Life is more relaxed.   My son is happier and calmer and it has addressed all the things we wanted it to

It helped me take a step back and remember to praise the children more.  I am more on top of things and deal with problems quicker.

I feel more confident in handling problems with my children.  I know how to manage simple and difficult problems.  I feel happy and the boys are more respectful towards me.  Thank you for the brilliant tools!

Everything is calmer with your support.  I have different strategies in place to deal with the children.  My children get on better together.

I think the support is excellent.  Everyone I have had contact with has been empathetic and supportive.  Just knowing the volunteer was coming in a few days made things feel so much better.  I really enjoyed her company.  She was great!

It was nice to have a little break while my volunteer took my toddler to the playground.  It was a good help as I have no family here and there is no one who would take my baby out to give me a break.

It took a lot of pressure off me, especially with regards to the children being clingy.  They weren’t so demanding of my attention.  Felt more confident about going to the Children’s Centre with my volunteer.

I was so relieved to hear that you also offer individual parenting support as well as volunteer support.  I am getting help from a service that I trust and respect.

Our home is more homely now my volunteer has helped me to de-clutter.

It has been lovely to know that the volunteer was coming over.  Just to have someone friendly to talk to makes such a difference.

I would definitely recommend the service to others.  It has been a very positive experience for my child and I am glad that we got support for her earlier rather than later.

My son is so much calmer, happier and this has been a little boy who from a very young age has struggled with anger issues.  At home he struggled to cope.  He and I both know that we can come back to Family Friends at any time for support.  Even friends have noticed a difference in him.   I tell friends that you’ve given him tools to cope and go forward in life.  I don’t know exactly what Tracy talks about with him but it seems to be about his feelings and inside hurting.
