The children and families we are supporting had the opportunity to take part in online workshops led by Norden Farm Centre for the Arts during the summer holidays. James Parsons, renowned cartoonist, led a cartoon comic drawing workshop which had the children (and Family Friends’ staff) enthralled in drawing zombie monsters, minions, unicorns, and lots more. The children had a great time and James captured all of their imaginations.
This was followed by the popular Kite Making Workshops which Norden Farm run each year. Chris Jarratt from the Specialist Kite Making Company took the children and families through a step-by-step online workshop to make a kite which they then decorated ready to fly. The workshop was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.
